The collective of African and Western musicians known as the Africa Express will be heading to the UK in September to play a very special show at Granary Square on the 8th of September.
The full Africa Express line up is yet to be announced, but you can expect to see the likes of Amadou & Mariam, Damon Albarn, Rokia Traore, Kano, Baloji, Charli XCX, Fatoumata Diarawa, Noisettes, Jupiter & Okwess International and Jack Steadman from Bombay Bicycle Club along with many others. Africa Express tickets are priced from £20.
As with every Africa Express happening, the event will be unrehearsed, unapologetic and unmissable!
