Folk rocker Al Stewart will be touring the UK from April next year. He’ll be performing all his biggies, from recent hits right the way back to his 1967 album, ‘Bedsitter Images’. The gig will be an acoustic set accompanied by his long-time collaborator Dave Nachmanoff. Guitarist, Tim Renwick, will also be joining.
Stewart played a key part in the legendary British folk revival of the swinging sixties and seventies, developing his own unique style of combining folk-rock songs with delicately woven tales of the great characters and events from history.
With a career that spans four decades. He played at the first ever Glastonbury Festival in 1970, worked with Yoko Ono pre-Lennon and shared a London apartment with a young Paul Simon. Pretty cool huh.
Al Stewart tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday 30 September. Sign up to the TicketAlarm to find yours 24 hours prior with the Eventim presale.
