Michael Jackson was one of, if not THE biggest musical influences on this planet. From the age of six he entertained millions across the world.

To celebrate what would have been the King of Pop’s 58th birthday, here are just a few of the artists who have been heavily inspired by the late, great Michael Jackson…

Justin Timberlake

Justin’s been widely regarded as someone who was highly influenced by Michael Jackson and his dance moves plus the fact that he recorded a duet with MJ on the posthumously released’Love Never Felt So Good’ really shows just how much.

Kanye West

Yeezus has been name-dropping Michael since he released ‘The College Dropout’ in 2004 and if you recall when interviewed by Zane Lowe in 2013 Kanye famously said: “For me, as Kanye West, I would not be Kanye West if it wasn’t for Michael Jackson…” At least Kanye knows his name!

Britney Spears

Britters and Michael met a number of times and even performed his hit ‘The Way You Make Me Feel’ together.

Beyonce

Queen B’s title is wholly well deserved, but even she has admitted herself that “The reason I am here is due to Michael Jackson.” In fact, some might argue that her halftime performance at the Superbowl was something of a tribute to him.

Taxi Driver

And, erm, this guy is also clearly influenced by the King…
