We are counting down the days to Crimbo even more now with the news that Chic are doing a special concert on the 23rd December at the Eventim Apollo.
This one-off show is in aid of Autism Rocks, the amazing charity that specialises in raising funds for autism research and support.
Nile Rodgers and CHIC are considered one of the greatest live dance music bands of all times. Best known for classic hits such as ‘Le Freak’, ‘I Want Your Love’ and ‘Good Times’. This is going to be an unforgettable show and for a great cause.
In June this year the first Autism Rocks Sessions with Ricky Martin sold more than 4,000 tickets and raised over £100,000 in donations.
Entrepreneur Sanjay Shah, founder of Autism Rocks, says: “CHIC and Nile Rodgers are set to ramp up the seasonal cheer and lead us right into Christmas with an unforgettable live show for fans and families.
“We are absolutely delighted that CHIC and Nile are lending their support to our cause. Autism is the fastest growing developmental disorder in the world and it is im-portant to raise awareness of the condition.”
Through the events’ proceeds, Autism Rocks has been supporting research into autism, life-changing projects aimed at helping non-verbal children with autism to learn how to speak and cutting-edge new ways of studying the autistic brain, such as the use of stem cell neuron testing.
Tickets go on sale tomorrow morning at 10am! Don’t miss out.
