Things are starting to get a little festive round here! December is drawing closer, so don’t be left out in the cold, book a fabulously festive theatre show! We’ve curated a guide of the best family Christmas shows, to warm even the grumpiest Grinch’s cold heart.


Tom Fletcher’s book, The Christmasaurus, is brought to life. Fletcher stars in the production along with his wife, author Giovanna Fletcher, McFly bandmate Harry Judd, Busted bandmate Matt Willis and sister Carrie Hope Fletcher.  

Set on Christmas Eve, a story about the magical adventures of a William Trundle and a most unusual dinosaur called the Christmasaurus. There are sleigh bells and singing elves, Santa Claus and flying reindeer, music and magic. It’s a tale about adventure, family, friendship and discovering that the impossible might just be possible…


Your favourite festive film is now a major new stage musical. The feel-good, funny and full of yuletide, featuring all of the favourite sing-a-long hits from the film.

Every child in every school has one Christmas wish, to star in a Nativity! At St Bernadette’s School they’re attempting to mount a musical version. But Mr Maddens has said a Hollywood producer is coming to see the show to turn it into a film. Join him, the crazy Mr Poppy, hilarious children, unruly animals, as they struggle to make everyone’s Christmas wish come true.

For an unforgettable adventure through Neverland, join Peter Pan in An Arena Spectacular. Performed across three stages, with CGI and a life-size Jolly Roger sailing through the Arena.

Starring Bradley Walsh as Mr Smee, Martin Kemp as Captain Hook, and Matt Knight as Peter Pan. J.M Barrie’s original story and characters are brought to life by a cast of over 100 performers. With a thrilling team of BMX riders, stuntmen, trapeze artists and even a 7m-long animatronic crocodile!


Come and join the festive fun, as the best loved pantomime, Cinderella, comes to life. Packed with amazing dance routines, and plenty of laughter, this is a tremendous treat for all the family!

Poor Cinderella is doomed to live unhappily ever after with her two horrible Ugly Sisters. Cinderella manages with the help of her “silly” friend Buttons, and a “magical” Fairy Godmother to make all her dreams come true! Watch with amazement as her pumpkin and white mice are transformed into a beautiful coach and horses in this true rags to riches story, but will Cinderella remember to leave the ball before midnight?

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the most magical pantomime ever told. It’s bursting with great songs, fantastic dance routines and hysterical moments.

Poor Snow White is doomed to live UN-happily ever after with her horrid stepmother the Wicked Queen. In a true rags to riches story, Snow White manages, with the help of her madcap friend Muddles, to meet a handsome Prince and make all her dreams come true.


Joe McElderry reprises his role as Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor® Dreamcoat. Bill Kenwright’s amazing production of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s family musical has become one of the most performed in the world.

The story of Joseph, his eleven brothers and the coat of many colours. It sings out to young and old alike, with a score crammed wall to wall with hits – including Jacob and Sons, Close Every Door and Any Dream Will Do.
