Coming up on Eventim this week. First up it’s Larry Miller famous for his exciting, mesmerising guitar playing and rip roaring shows in the UK and around Europe. He is one of the most popular blues/rock acts on the live scene in the UK. Larry holds the record for the most encores at The Cambridge Rock Festival, returning the following two years to capacity crowds and standing ovations. You can catch him live in Penzance, April of next year.
Sharon Shannon has music at her fingertips….literally! The accordionist from Ireland has achieved legendary status throughout the world and has made the much-maligned accordion ‘cool’ in her home country. Renowned for her collaborations, not just in Irish traditional music, but through all musical genres – Hip-Hop, Cajun, Country, Classical and Rap. Sharon is playing 10 dates all over the UK starting in Gloucester Guildhall November 2012 and ending in Norwich Arts Centre March 2012.
November 2012 sees the 20th Anniversary of one of the finest Hip Hop albums of all time “Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde”. The Pharcyde return with their regular live band for this one off special exclusive concert to celebrate the seminal piece of work “Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde” at the Clapham Grand.
Trampled By Turtles is an indie folk band from Duluth, Minnesota. The group is most famous for both its fast-paced songs and plaintive ballads. Their high-energy concerts have attracted an ever-growing, dedicated fan following. You can see them live at two of London’s hippest venues the Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen on the 13th of October 2012 and the Scala on the 5th of June 2013.
