FACT: Festivals are fun. Great fun in fact, and there are so many amazing ones to choose from this summer (Reading & Leeds, Blissfields, Latitude, Isle of Wight, Download, to name but a few) that we do feel a little spoiled for choice!
Whichever festival you decide to get tickets for, make sure you pack a festival survival kit! Here we have some advice on what to include…
Get yourself down to Boots and stock up on baby wipes – especially if you are camping at a festival. You are likely to get dirty and muddy, we won’t sugar coat that fact for you, so make sure you have some on hand at all times!
Showering doesn’t really happen that easily and if you are someone who likes to wash their hair every day then you will need to bring some dry shampoo with you.
The British weather is infamous for changing suddenly, so even if it looks like it’s going to be a sunny day, don’t be surprised to suddenly find yourself stuck in a downpour! Make sure you bring a small, pvc poncho with you just in case.
Antibacterial hand gel
Again, you will get dirty and muddy at a festival and of course there will be thousands of other people around you so it is important to make sure you keep your hands germ-free. Invest in some antibacterial hand gel and keep it with you.
If you’re camping make sure you have a small torch with you or else you risk ending up in the wrong tent coming back from the loo at night! We don’t need to say anything more on this…
Think about how many people are going to be at the festival and how many will be using the loos. You don’t want to be stuck without toilet roll but this is a possibility and you will be thanking your lucky stars if you have a tissue supply on you!
