Belfast’s Carl Frampton will be defending the IBF title that he took from Kiko Martinez this February as he goes head to head with WBA super bantamanweight champion Scott Quigg at Manchester Arena.
The fight, which will take place on Saturday 27th February, will be one of the most tense in recent years, as Frampton, 28, has been undefeated for 21 fights, with Quigg racking up five successful defenses since October 2013.
Speaking ahead of the fight, Frampton said: “This is the fight everyone has wanted for years, none more so than myself. I’m the legitimate champion and I’m going to his backyard to defend my title because that’s what champions do. On February 27 the fans will find out who the real champion is, I’m going to win this fight in style.”
Who will be crowned champion? Find out on Saturday 27th February at Manchester Arena.
