Frank Turner UK Tour
Flogging Molly and Beans on Toast have been confirmed as the support acts for Frank Turner’s upcoming UK tour.
The folk-punk singer-songwriter released his fifth studio album, ‘Tape Deck Heart’, earlier this year and has already embarked on a more intimate tour of the country in the past 12 months – as well as supporting Green Day at Brixton Academy in August.
Turner has now enlisted the help of two talented acts to keep his crowds entertained before he hits the stage.
Opening the nights will be fellow solo folk star Beans on Toast – Turner’s ‘old pal Jay’ – who’s spent many nights over the past seven or eight years sharing the stage with Turner, including a gig at Wembley Arena last year.
Also joining the tour will be Celtic punk outfit Flogging Molly, who took Turner and his backing band The Sleeping Souls on their first US tour back in 2010. Described by Turner as ‘one of my favourite live acts and an all-round killer band’, they’re more than a bonus for the countless fans that’ll be turning up to the tour next year.
