James Blunt Announces UK Tour

Following the success of his fourth studio album Moon Landing, James Blunt has announced his headline UK tour.

James Blunt is one of the country’s most popular singer songwriters, with his debut album Back to Bedlam selling over 11 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling albums of the noughties in the UK. His other three albums All the Lost Souls, Some Kind of Trouble and Moon Landing, all entered the UK charts in the top ten.

With three world tours, four number one singles, five Grammy nods and seven whole years on the road under his belt, James has achieved sales of 17m albums and 20m singles worldwide.

The tour comes with the release of Blunt’s fourth album, ‘Moon Landing’, an album about getting back to basics and rediscovering the power of music to communicate emotion directly and honestly, without polish or complication.

The tour also promises to showcase the back catalogue of hits that propelled Blunt to stardom. Expect to hear hits like You’re Beautiful, Goodbye My Lover and 1973.

James said:

“There’s just something romantic, old-school and lonely about the moon landings. A nostalgic memory of something huge that we can hardly believe we once achieved, and for some sad reason, can’t achieve again – like first love.”

Along with stellar album sales, James has won a variety of awards – two Brit’s, two Ivor Novello’s and a host of MTV Awards, to name a few.
