One of *the* biggest dates in the Metal calendar, The Metal Hammer Golden God Awards, are a mere few weeks away and we’re excited to announce that the host for the evening will be none other than Jamey Jasta.
The Hatebreed vocalist and former host of MTV’s ‘Headbangers Ball’ will be heading to the Eventim Apollo in London on Monday 13 June for their biggest awards ceremony ever.
We’re also today able to announce that Swedish rockers Amon Amarth and French heavy Metal band Gojira will be performing on the night, joining an already stellar line up which includes Halestorm and a special salute to Lemmy featuring Saxonn, Phil Campbell and Mikkey Dee of Motörhead.
Tickets are available to purchase exclusively through Eventim for £6.66* here. What’s more, proceeds on the night will go towards the Heavy Metal Truants, a charity founded by Metal Hammer editor-in-chief and TeamRock Executive Director Alexander Milas and Iron Maiden manager Rod Smallwood, who have been doing some amazing work in aid of Nordoff Robbins, Teenage Cancer Trust and Childline.
