The countdown to festival season is well underway and today the line-up for the eleventh Latitude Festival has been announced with the theme of ‘Love Thy Neighbour’ confirmed!
Taking place in the stunning grounds of Henham Park in Suffolk, Latitude will see The Maccabees return as headliners on the Friday night at the Obelisk Arena. Crowned the ‘Best British Band’ at February’s NME Awards, this announcement secures what has already been a great 12 months for the South London five piece.
Latitude favourites, The National, return to Henham Park as the first ever act to headline the festival for a second time! They’ll be performing a number of songs from their six albums on the Obelisk stage.
Closing the festival will be the legendary New Order, who, similarly to Latitude, celebrated their tenth anniversary last year!
Speaking ahead of the festival, New Order said: “We are thrilled to be headlining Latitude. It’s our first time at the festival so we’re looking forward to exploring, especially the diverse range of acts, bring on July!”
Also confirmed are Chvrches, John Grant, The Lumineers, Father John Misty, Daughter, Of Monsters and Men, Roots Manuva, Rat Boy and many more!
