Aussie legend Nick Cave will play a rare intimate date at the Eventim Apollo before his sell out show at the Royal Albert Hall.
This year has seen Cave win the Ivor Novello award for Best Album for his stunning 2013 LP Push The Sky Away with the Bad Seeds, as well as critical acclaim for new film 20,000 Days On Earth.
The rare solo run will find Cave backed by Bad Seeds past and present. Cave will be joined by Warren Ellis (guitar/violin/Mandolin/loops), Martyn Casey (bass), Thomas Wydler (drums) and Barry Adamson (keys/vibes) to present songs from across his considerable catalogue, including selections from 2013′s Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds album Push The Sky Away.
Meanwhile, Cave and the Bad Seeds recently unveiled two previously unreleased songs – Give Us A Kiss and a live version of Jubilee Street, recorded at the Sydney Opera House – from Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard’s 20,000 Days On Earth film.
