Nothing feels like summer quite like an outdoor concert and this year’s Summer In The City at Castlefield Bowl in Manchester has some of the most acclaimed live artists taking to the stage throughout July.
Paolo Nutini fans can rejoice as not only will the Scottish singer be taking over Millennium Square in Leeds on Friday 19th June, but he will be heading over to Manchester on Thursday 2nd July where he will be performing tracks from his acclaimed third album Caustic Love.
Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott will headline Summer In The City on Friday 3rd July, playing songs from What Have We Become, the first album the duo have made since the days of The Beautiful South. I AM KLOOT and The Leisure Society will also be joining.
On Saturday 4th July indie rock band The Charlatans will be headlining with upcoming Manchester band Blossoms joining in the fun. The Charlatans have enjoyed phenomenal success and their latest and twelfth album Modern Nature was received with critical acclaim!
Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds are the headliners on Saturday 11th July when Noel will be joined by fellow Mancunians Johnny Marr and Black Rivers which will no doubt be a very special occasion in the city!
