Ride reunite for 2015 – influential British shoegaze band to headline London’s Field Day on world tour



Ride have confirmed that they are reforming for a 2015 UK tour.

The Band announced on the BBC 6music Breakfast show with Shaun Keavney that they will reform for a limited run of live dates in 2015 including an appearance at East London festival Field Day in Victoria Park.

The band formed in 1988 and released four albums before their split in 1996 – Nowhere (1990), Going Blank Again (1992), Carnival of Light (1994) and Tarantula (1996).

After the band broke up, Bell formed Hurricane #1, who released two albums before splitting. Bell went on to join Oasis in 2000 and then on to Beady Eye after Oasis disintegrated.

In 2001, Gardener, Bell, Colbert and Queralt reunited to jam for Channel 4 Sonic Youth documentary Pioneers.
