It’s no secret that North East comedian Sarah Millican’s Outsider tour has been selling like hotcakes, so much so that an extra 2 dates have been added in Sarah’s hometown of Newcastle at the Tyne Theatre & Opera House.
We aren’t surprised that Sarah’s show is so popular; after all this is the highest selling female comedian we are talking about who has also been voted the People’s Choice Queen of Comedy and has received two BAFTA nominations.
Her belly-achingly hilarious jokes have also won Sarah a legion of fans at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and on the iconic Live At The Apollo and The Royal Variety Performance.
“What’s your favourite Sarah Millican joke?” I hear you ask – well, while there are almost too many to pick from, I am certainly a fan of the following gem…
“There’s a song called ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry.’ Yes they do, they cry because they’re fat. They cry because they can’t get a boyfriend. And they cry because there’s no trifle left.”
Tickets for the extra dates go on sale 10am on Friday morning – get yours here.
