Things To Do In May 2018 Half Term

After a long hot summer, September has come around, which means it’s time to go back to school. So we’ve selected our favourite back to school shows – along with a few other shows we think are unmissable. Whether you’re heading back to school or your school days are a thing of the past, we’ve chosen the best shows in September for you.

School of Rock

We certainly wish we had a supply teacher like Dewey Finn – a wannabe rock star who turns his class into guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band! Based on the film starring Jack Black, the musical features all the original songs from the film, along with 14 new songs. Get ready to rock, as Andrew Lloyd Webber creates another West End hit.

Everybody’s Talking About Jamie

The smash hit musical based on the true story of sixteen year old Jamie, who lives on a council estate in Sheffield and doesn’t quite fit in. Jamie dreams of wearing a dress to his prom; with support from his Mum and surrounded by his friends, he overcomes prejudice and beats the bullies.

We hope your school experience was nothing like this! Veronica Sawyer is taken under the wings of the three beautiful and impossibly cruel Heathers at Westerberg High. Her dreams of popularity start to come true, until a mysterious teen rebel turns up and teaches her that it might kill to be a nobody, but it’s murder being a somebody…

Celebrate The King of Pop’s 60th Birthday

Celebrate Michael Jackson’s 60th Birthday and the 4,000th performance of the hit musical Thriller Live, at this very special show. All proceeds will go to The Prince’s Trust and the night will be hosted by Jon Culshaw and Russell Kane – with more guests to be announced. This gala charity performance will certainly be one to remember.

This is definitely one train that you won’t want to miss…

Pedley Street Station has recently opened and launched its new luxury train, ‘The Murder Express’ – you’ll tuck into a menu created by Billy and Jack, BBC One’s Masterchef 2016 finalists. On board there will be mysterious characters and strange and scary goings on. Jump aboard for an immersive theatre experience.

Murder Express 630 x 251

September Special Offer – save up to 51% on Kinky Boots tickets

The Olivier Award winning musical features songs by Cyndi Lauper and will teach you that you can change the world when you change your mind. This feel-good show takes you from the factory floor of Northampton, to the glamorous catwalks of Milan!
