Australian rock band Tame Impala have announced today (Tuesday 8th September) that they will be heading to Manchester Arena as part of an extended world tour.
The band, which consists of Kevin Parker, Jay Watson, Cam Avery and Julien Babagallo are currently on the road with shows sold out across the UK, United States, Australia and Europe, and will be heading to Manchester on Thursday 11th February.
Tame Impala released their debut album, ‘Innerspeaker’, in 2010, but it was 2012’s ‘Lonerism’ that really catapulted the band to international fame, bringing the guys a GRAMMY Award nomination with it.
The band’s third and most recent album, ‘Currents’, was released in July 2015 and reached no. 3 in the UK Album Chart.
