The Metal Hammer Golden God Awards return this June with what is one of *the* biggest nights in the metal calendar.
For the very first time ever this unique event will take place at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith, a venue which has played host to the world’s most important bands, including Motörhead, who named their iconic ‘No Sleep ‘Till Hammersmith’ album after the venue.
The night will no doubt feature some very special performances and celebrity hosts (previous performances have come from Motörhead, Machine Head and Anthrax, so expect some very, very big names), all of whom will be announced over the next few weeks.
This year will also see the great and the good of the metal world remember the legendary Lemmy Kilmister.
Not only will the awards be a celebration of all that is mighty and metal, but it also happens to be Metal Hammer’s 30th anniversary and given that it is the heavy metal bible, we can’t think of a better way to celebrate!
Tickets are available to purchase exclusively through Eventim for £6.66*. What’s more, proceeds on the night will go towards the Heavy Metal Truants, a charity founded by Metal Hammer editor-in-chief and TeamRock Executive Director Alexander Milas and Iron Maiden manager Rod Smallwood, who have been doing some amazing work in aid of Nordoff Robbins, Teenage Cancer Trust and Childline.
This is one metal event you seriously would be mad to miss out on. Metal Hammer Golden God Awards tickets are available now. Find yours here.
