What to expect at OnBlackheath 2016

One of our favourite festivals, OnBlackheath, is returning from 10 – 11 September with another two days of unforgettable music, entertainment and, most importantly, tonnes of fun.

Here are a few things you can expect from this year’s OnBlackheath…

Top notch music

This year’s line up include Primal Scream, Belle & Sebastian, Hot Chip and James – and those are just the headliners. Add on performances from Thundercat, Laura Groves and Neneh Cherry and we have ourselves an eclectic mix for everyone to enjoy.

Food, glorious food

From the Chef’s Club Banquet which features some high profile chefs serving their signature dishes, to live demonstrations with celebrity guests and an array of street food, there’s no chance you’ll be going hungry here. Oh, and did we mention there will be a load of beer and cocktail stands?

Peter Rabbit

For the first time ever OnBlackheath will be welcoming the Puffin World of Stories with a Magical Storytelling Stage, a Talking Maze, a Village Green Sports Day and lots more for the whole family. You might even get to meet your favourite characters including Spot the Dog, Peter Rabbit and a number of others from the wonderful world of Roald Dahl.

And what’s more, KIDS GO FREE under the age of 12.

Awesome views

Located in the borough of Greenwich, there are some stellar views of London including, most impressively, Canary Wharf. For those who don’t live in London and even those who don’t, it’s well worth taking the view in from OnBlackheath.
