After winning ‘Best British Single’ for his number one hit Pass Out and ‘Best British Breakthrough Act’ at the Brit Awards in 2011, the South London rapper shot to fame with his debut album Disc-overy. Containing the hit singles Frisky, Miami 2 Ibiza and Written In The Stars, the album reached number one in the UK album charts and was also nominated for the Mercury Music Prize.
Like his multi-platinum selling debut Disc-Overy, Tinie has once again delivered an innovative, bold, surprising, pioneering piece of work, inhabited by a sense of musical adventure and an eclectic array of collaborators.
Tinie Tempah builds towards the November 4th release of Demonstration with the new single ‘Children of the Sun’ which is out on October 28th on Parlophone. Featuring vocals from John Martin, last heard on Swedish House Mafia’s ‘Don’t You Worry Child’, the chart-troubling ‘Children of the Sun’ is a festival filling, hands in the air anthem.
Tinie recently returned to the charts with ‘Trampoline’, a Diplo-produced collaboration with 2 Chainz which crashed in at #3
