There are more announcements this week from the Wakestock Gŵyl y Môr camp including the addition of Chloe Howl, Craig Charles. Arkon Fly, Josh Record, Lynx, Jimi Needles and many more to the line up and day tickets going on sale.

Chloe Howl, Craig Charles, Arkon Fly, Josh Record, Lynx and Jimi Needles are the latest additions along with local talent Autocycle, Strictly Underground Dj’s and Ed Mackie. This news comes just as day tickets go on sale.

Chloe Howl’s frank lyrics and electro beats have drawn comparisons to the likes of Icona Pop, Lily Allen and Katy B. She first came to attention in late 2012 with “No Strings,” a furiously sweary pop belter. Following the success of her Rumour EP, she’s been invited to support the likes of John Newman, Bastille and Alex Clare. She’s also picked up plaudits from the likes of Huw Stephens, Zane Lowe and Annie Mac.

Who better to bring you some funk and soul than the one and only Craig Charles. Charles has spent 10 years presenting BBC Radio 6 Music’s The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show, where he plays a diverse range of funk and soul music, from the roots of black music through to the current club sounds, featuring classic tracks, new releases, sessions and interviews. His DJ sets are legendary and he knows how to make you get your groove on.

Multi instrumentalists, writers, producers and vocalists, Arkon Fly aka Big Jam and Bixby are the London duo Arkon Fly. Already winning plaudits from Skream, Duke Dumont and Julio Bashmore, their debut “Through The Fire” signifies the start of an electronic soul and funk scene coming out of the progressive UK underground. These guys are up to the minute with what they have to offer.
