Blissfields festival may have a top bill this summer, with The Horrors, John Grant, Simian Mobile Disco and Public Service Broadcasting just a few of the names that have been confirmed.
But there is so much more than the awesome music that makes Blissfields one of the best festivals to go to this summer. “Why?” we hear you ask – well, let us tell you…
The Hidden Hedge
It sounds like something from The Secret Garden or Narnia, but The Hidden Hedge is a pretty cool area that promises to ‘overwhelm your senses’. How? Well it is filled with wonderous installations, amazing audio visual effects and a giant fire pit with – get this – a chill out area!
Who doesn’t love a bit of crafting now and then? Feed your inner Martha Stewart at the Blissfields Craft Area where you can either relax and watch others create some wonderful momentums
The much loved Bubble Bus and The Blisscotheque are back and better than ever as DJs play throughout the day and into the early hours, with music to keep the party going. Expect cocktails and dancing all night with a selection of some of the best DJs going.
Angel Gardens Family Area
Oh yeah, Blissfields is very family friendly and the Angel Gardens Family Area is the perfect spot to head to if you are attending with little ones. There are so many fun workshops and activities, including The White Rabbit Cabaret in a huge yellow and white tent, that we can promise you will never hear the soul-destroying phrase “I’m bored”.
The Blissfields Hobgoblin Beer Festival
A beer festival within a festival? It can only be Blissfields! Head to the main arena where the larger-than-life Hobgoblin lorry bar will be situated. Here you can taste up to 10 delicious drinks including some Hampshire ciders – delicious!
